Nasa team led by Indian-origin scientist unravels what is behind superheating of Sun's mossy region

The enigmatic mossy region of the Sun has long puzzled scientists with its intricate connection to the lower atmospheric layers and its extraordinary heating process, elevating temperatures from 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit to almost 1 million degrees Fahrenheit—100 times hotter than the surrounding bright surface. Recent studies, spearheaded by scientist Souvik Bose, have finally illuminated the mechanism behind this intense superheating within the moss.
